One of the biggest holidays in San Diego, and across the country, is Independence Day, and this year’s 4th of July celebrations are sure to delight the many crowds expected. San Diego is one of the top 4th of July destinations in the U.S. because of its large military presence and enthusiastic residents.

Independence Day parades will be happening in the morning on July 4th all across the county. Whether you’re in Coronado, Old Town, Oceanside or Poway, spectators are invited to watch the processions in many of our countywide neighborhoods. Community 4th of July picnics will also be on in many areas, including El Cajon, Rancho Bernardo, San Marcos and many others!

Of course, some of the biggest events on the 4th of July are the fireworks shows. The Big Bay Boom in the San Diego Bay is the largest fireworks show on the west coast. Across the county, there will also be numerous local fireworks shows at schools and community parks for spectators to enjoy.

Have a great 4th of July holiday by getting out and celebrating the U.S.A. in America’s Finest City!
