This year’s Big Bay Boom theme is “A Salute to the Military Families of our Service Heroes”. Without the courage and sacrifice of these selfless families, July 4th would be just another day on the calendar. For without our brave military heroes we would not have the freedom that we so often take for granted. So let’s celebrate America and honor our military this 4th of July weekend.
What better way to celebrate our country’s independence, than to participate in the largest fireworks celebration on the west coast? That’s right, The Big Bay Boom on the San Diego Bay is the biggest and best display on the entire West Coast, with as many as a half of a million friends and neighbors expected. Simulated to music and launched from 4 separate barges, this show is sure to impress.
With so many folks expected, you’ll want to arrive early and plan ahead as to where to park. There are free shuttles around, though parking may cost.
