The holidays have hit and San Diego has never been more prepared! This month on December 11th and 18th the 45th Annual Parade of Lights will take place on San Diego Bay! What is the Parade of Lights you might ask? Well every year San Diego’s boating community puts on a magical parade on the water for people to come and watch from many different locations.

You can enjoy the show from the land or the water. Every year there is a different theme and this year it will be “It Began with a Roar- San Diego Zoo Celebrates 100 Years.” Get ready to see all the creative ways the boats get decorated with holiday lights! It will start near Shelter Island and will float past Harbor Island, Embarcadero, Seaport Village, Cesar Chavez Park and Coronado’s Ferry Landing. San Diego Parade of Lights brings out more than 100,000 people each year from all over the county to watch all the beautifully decorated boats float on by. Make sure to come early to get a good spot!

San Diego Sailing Tours will have yachts out on the water too! Be sure to grab a spot on one of our beautiful refurbished sailboats! You will want to miss out on this event!

We hope to see you out there!
