If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, we have a list of about three different spots throughout San Diego that make a perfect adventure for the day. If that means just getting out of the house to go and relax under the sun then we have the perfect places for you!
#1 The Secret Swings
This spot is hidden amongst the trees nestled right above Scripps Pier along the hillsides of La Jolla. It doesn’t take too long to get up there, just a small hike right up from Expedition Way there is a handmade set overlooking the entire ocean! Definitely, a place to check out whenever you come to San Diego.
#2 The SS Monte Carlo Shipwreck
Just right below the surface of Coronado’s water lies the SS Monte Carlo, a gambling casino boat also known as the “Sin Ship.” It crashed along the shore of Coronado during a winter storm on January 1, 1937. Depending on the time of year, the visibility changes but it is definitely a spectacle that everyone needs to see!
#3 Ho Chi Minh Trail
This started off as a secret surfer trail for the adventure-seekers, it is home to slot canyons, sandstone cliffs, and wooden planks. The entrance is right on La Jolla Farms Road, you will see a sign pointing out a trailhead. And the entrance is right in between two construction gates that leads to the trail.
