Are you planning your fourth of July weekend in San Diego? Here are the top three events going on in San Diego for Independence Day. Plan one of these activities for a guaranteed good time on the 4th of July!

The San Diego County Fair

The San Diego County Fair is closing their doors for the season on the Fourth of July. So if you haven’t been to the fair yet, don’t miss out on your last chance to go on July 4th! The fair is always fun, but to celebrate the start of summer, the last day of the fair, and independence day, they go all out. In case the fair itself isn’t enough independence day fun for you, the firework show will pack a punch. The finale alone is proposed to have 3,600 ariel display counts and 500 shells, not counting the rest of the show. The fireworks show starts at 9PM and is choreographed to music played at the mainstage sound system. Tip: Purchasing tickets to Brad Upton’s comedy show at the Corona Grandstand Stage ensures a great seat for this half-hour firework spectacular. Get tickets by clicking here.
