The Inflatable Fun Run
On Saturday May 4th at the SDCCU Stadium, get ready for some family fun at the Inflatable Fun Run. This event features a 5K run made up of inflatable obstacles. Every 500 feet there is an inflatable obstacle that any age or fitness level can complete. This run is a touring festival featuring over 28,000 pounds of inflatables that will keep you, your family, and friends having so much fun that you’ll forget you’re exercising. The inflatable festival has countless activities and attractions for the whole family at all ages. There are no age, height or weight restrictions, for this race so nobody is left out of the fun! You’ll find fun activities throughout the day such as the famous Epic Water Battle, Mr. Wacky meet & greets, shirt signing party, magic shows, face-painting, coloring stations, dance parties & more surprises that will keep you smiling all day. Your ticket purchase benefits The Just Care More Foundation helping at-risk youth. Get your kids off the couch and outdoors for an unforgettable day they’ll be talking about till we come back in 2020!

Cinco by the Bay
This weekend is Cinco De Mayo so get down to the Port of San Diego to celebrate Cinco By The Bay at the Embarcadero Marina Park. This 21+ event celebrates Mexican heritage and culture with a day of festivities all surrounded by the stunning San Diego Bay. The event runs from 12 Noon to 8pm on Saturday May 4th. There is a Street Food Market featuring all your favorite Mexican food and authentic Mariachi bands performing all day long. Enter Tequila Town and take in the view as you enjoy tequila and mezcal craft cocktails. General admission tickets are just $10 but VIP tickets are also available for $125. You may also purchase Tequila & Mezcal Tastings for $25 getting you (6) half ounce tastings.

Cinco De Mayo at Balboa Park
Looking for a family friendly way to celebrate Cinco De Mayo? What better way than the annual Cinco De Mayo Celebration at Balboa park. This free event starts up at 11am and goes until 6pm on Saturday, May 4th. There will be Mexican-themed music and dance performances, colorful horseback riders, strolling mariachis, hands-on activity booths for kids, arts and crafts vendors, gourmet food trucks, and more. Activities and entertainment will take place in both the Plaza de Panama and Spreckels Organ Pavilion throughout the day. Keep a look out for some of San Diego’s best food trucks on the El Prado walkway. There will be a free one-hour concert in the Spreckels Organ Pavilion starting at 5:00 pm with performances by City Heights Mariachi and Jarabe Mexicano. Other highlights of the day include a special fashion showcase of regional styles of dress from Mexico and artisans demonstrating various traditional art techniques. Additional activity booths will be hosted by event sponsors, park cultural organizations, and community partners.
