The 41st annual World Bodysurfing Championships will be hitting the Oceanside Pier this month, on August 19-20th!
The competition features bodysurfers ages 12 and over who compete in age brackets for the title of Grand Champion. Saturday will feature heats designed to separate the amateurs from the experts and draw out the best bodysurfers the world has to offer. Sunday the top performers will compete in quarter finals, semifinals, and final heats to determine the final rankings. The winner receives trophies and prizes, not to mention glory, and all participants have the amazing opportunity to enjoy a day on the beach in beautiful San Diego.
