It’s been an unusually warm and dry winter, but that means sailing in the daytime can feel pretty magical for someone visiting outside of Southern California. While most people are enjoying a snowy winter, we have sunshine and warm afternoons. The number one questions we receive when people are booking their tours is they are wondering what to wear? My best recommendation is dressing in layers. Start with a short-sleeve and pants, and add a jacket or hat depending on comfortable. That way you’re not sweating during the day, and you can be comfortably wrapped when the evening comes and temperatures drop.

The wind has been gentle this time of year allowing for sailing to be gentle and glide with ease along the Bay. Wind conditions better as we venture out into the ocean to spot pods of whales and dolphins during Whale Watching Season.
