Its Friday night and you need a cocktail to celebrate surviving a full week of hard work… but where do you go?! San Diego is full of bars that have specialty cocktails you don’t want to miss out on! We did some research and configured a list of some of the best places to grab a delicious drink!

Cat Eye Club

Located in the heart of Downtown across from Petco Park the Cat Eye Club is a retro tiki bar that brings you back to the 50s and 60s the second you step foot inside the building. They are open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 5pm. Enjoy their Pua Hana, Ginger Mojito or a Baja Pipeline ( a tequila drink) while you are there!

Noble Experiment

Not many people know about this rad bar due to its hidden access. The bar is speakeasy from the Prohibition period. To get in you have to make a reservation and from there you receive directions on how to get there. If you are not sure which cocktail to try let the bartender surprise you. You will not regret seeking this place out!

Sycamore Den

Based in Normal Heights the Sycamore Den is a total throw back to the 70s. They have a happy hour until 7pm everyday with $8 specialty cocktails and $7 wines! Doesn’t get better than that! They have a cocktail called The Ticket which is their classic drink and always recommend it to people!

Kettner Exchange 

Located in Little Italy this rooftop bar is the perfect place to unwind after a long week! Indulge in a Spicy Gallagher, Georgia Sunshine or a Manhattan Exchange! This bar has a variety of options so its great from a large group!

False Idol

You will not be disappointment in this tiki speakeasy! Located in the downtown region of San Diego this bar is a DREAM for all tiki lovers! Reservations are required as it is a small bar and they only allow a few amount of people in at a time.  Grab a group of people and enjoy a Luau Scorpion Bowl or your favorite cocktail in a hand made tiki mug!
