As the end of August approaches, the temperatures are beginning to cool down (at least slightly!) and kids are heading back to school. It seems that the summer is ending faster than it began, and with just a couple of weeks of summer to go, it’s time to get out on the water and enjoy the best of San Diego. The end of summer doesn’t have to mean the end of summer fun!
One of the best things about summer is how long the days are. The sun sets much later during the summer, keeping it light in San Diego until at least about 7:30pm during these months. This gives everyone more time to enjoy all the things that we San Diegans love, centering around the ocean and outdoor living. At San Diego Sailing Tours, we’re even able to run extra departures during the summer months to make sure that we can get as many people as possible out enjoying the waters of the San Diego Bay.
We’re lucky here in San Diego that we can enjoy great weather for most of the year, which means that summer fun doesn’t really end just because summer is over. If summer is your favorite season, then San Diego is truly the place that you can live out your summer all year long.
