Visit a beach

San Diego is fortunate to be a coastal town and has many beaches to visit! Some beaches are good for their waves, some a great for children and there are even beaches that are great for tide pools. You can surf, kayak, paddleboard, snorkel and even dive at any time!

Potato Chip Rock

Spend the day hiking up to potato chip rock! This interesting rock formation at the end of the trail looks like a potato chip, you can stand on it and pose for a cool photo- there typically is a line to take a picture!

Sunset at Sunset Cliffs

By far one of our favorite places with a view! Take a stroll down the path, climb down to be closer to the water, cliff jump or even pack a picnic. This is a guaranteed spot to see a beautiful sight!

Old Town

Get an idea of what San Diego used to be like back in the day. Visit the town’s very first courthouse and jail or if you are not into history visit all the local shops and restaurants!
