While not much can beat the views on the San Diego waterfront, if you are looking for another experience to add to your San Diego to-do list make a trip down to the Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve.

Torrey Pines is a playground for endangered species, hosting over 300 protected plant species through the reserve.  With more than a dozen hiking trails, visitors to Torrey Pines can explore forested areas, admire the sandstone, spot seasonal creek flows, and take a variety of routes down onto pristine beaches. In addition to the panoramic views, Torrey Pines offers visitors the chance to view the diverse California wildlife and glimpse a one of a kind sunset. We have included some of our favorite photos of Torrey Pines, as well as linking their website here: Torrey Pines SNR.

Torrey Pines is just one of the attractions that help to make San Diego an unforgettable site for a summer vacation.
