It is that time of the year again to start playing Mariah Carey and hang decorative socks from the fireplace mantle, that’s right because it is the Holidays! Time for people to come together and celebrate just having one another especially during this time of struggle and chaos. Coming together this year may be a little different than years in the past because it might be virtual, but just seeing those that you care about can give you that same Holiday joy from the years of the past! So load your sleigh up and get ready to be festive with these different socially distanced events and activities!

Drive-In and Drive Through Events

To circumvent the spread of the virus itself a lot of different events and activities have had to change the format of how they operate to a drive in style just to make sure that everyone stays safe and socially distanced. This Holiday season there are many different options for different drive-in and drive-through activities. Here are a couple of different options that you and your family can choose to participate in.

#1 Enchanted Village

When: December 18-23,2020

We are very excited about this magical drive-thru even. It will welcome all San Diegans to come out and view beautiful holiday lights, sounds, and decorations. The magical Village features multiple hundreds of giant candy canes, a forest of Christmas trees, Candy Land, even nightly appearances by Santa, and much more.

#2 Jingle Terrace Park

When: December 5-28, 2020

This is a newer drive-thru that is absolutely free of cost. It will have a huge holiday-themed light display along the driving loop in Brengale Terrae Park. The visitors will be captivated by the displays of holiday lights depicting many of Vista’s special and unique amenities. Make sure to bring the entire family to come to check this one out!

Another thing to check out is San Diego’s Dr.Suess’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas. This is a wonderful, musical based upon the classic Dr.Seuss book. The family favorite features the songs “Santa for a Day,” “You’re a Mean One, Mr.Grinch,” and “Welcome, Christmas (Fah Who Doraze),” the delightful carol from the popular animated version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The next showing is on Sunday, December 20th at 12 PM then there is another on Thursday, December 24 at 6PM.

This entire winter Belmont Park is bringing together friend and family for the Holiday Season that we all need! The 95-year-old  beachside park will offer a different day-and-night experience which will feature a holiday toy drive with 15-foot holiday-themed sculptures, a free Real-Life Santa photo op, and multiple other different winter-themed activities and events. Make sure to come check out all of the fun and festivities.
