The LGBT Pride Parade was produced by a sponsored program of The Center for Social Services in 1974.

This was the first Lesbian and Gay Parade in San Diego to celebrate the 1969 Stonewall Rebellion.

San Diego Pride was built as a nonprofit organization in 1994.

San Diego’s Pride Parade raises money through music festival tickets, beverage sales, and other fees.  San Diego Pride’s community has raised over $2 million in progression in respect for all people locally, nationally, and globally.
