San Diego is definitely known for being a huge tourist attraction especially for its water and museums, but San Diego also has an incredible nightlife that can easily carry on your party to the next morning. Here are a couple of the night time attractions in San Diego.

#1 National Comedy Theatre

The National Comedy Theatre (NCT) is an excellent choice if you are looking for something to fill up your night. Whether you are just alone looking for something to fill up your time, or if you and a group of friends are bored out on the town then this is one of your best choices.  Jokes are usually kept clean so that is is appropriate for a general audience, but they also have unrated shows where the humor is a little bit edgier and cover more adult topics for an older crowd.

#2 Catch a Show at the Old Globe Theater

The Old Globe Theater which sits in Balboa Park is known for their amazing Tony award-winning productions and phenomenal renditions of classic Broadway Plays. The Old Globe Theater was founded in 1935 which came in a set of 3 unique theatres including Simon Edison Centre for the Performing Arts: the historic Old Globe Theatre, the lovely Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, and the outdoor Lowell Davies Festival Theatre.

Take yourself back to the time of Shakespeare and be ready to enjoy classic tales of love and lost brought to life by your favorite San Diego actors. This theatre puts on everything from classic plays to musicals. Come out and enjoy an amazing night on the town while watching an amazing production in great company.

#3 Night Fish on the Shores

Anyone can enjoy fishing in the sun, but San Diego is one of the best places to be able to catch tail in the middle of the night. All you need is a California fishing license from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. From March to August you can come to most any of San Diego’s shores in order to experience the Grunion Run. Make sure to come geared up and ready to take home a big number of catches.
