Today is the San Diego Veterans’ Day Parade, make sure to pay respect to all those that have fought and fight for our freedom every day! The festival will start on North Harbor Drive which is one block south of Grape Street, it will be moving south past Broadway and the USS Midway, and then it will be ending on Harbor Drive which is one block east of Pacific Highway.

Every year San Diego hosts this large Veterans’ Day Parade in recognition of those who have served our country and fought for our freedom. This is one of our biggest celebrations giving thanks to those who have served in the military. It is said that this year there will be over 4,000 veterans, active-duty military, marching bands, floats, and different civic groups who are expected to attend.

This is all produced and in addition to “Veterans Week San Diego”, this is an all-volunteer team of veterans and citizens of all shapes and sizes teaming up together to host a great veterans weeks. These events are made possible by donations from the residents of the San Diego area, as well as additional financial support from the regional and business industries. Make sure to come out and support the troops that have risked their lives to fight for our freedom!
