My very first time sailing was a few weeks ago, and it was a sunset sail with San Diego Sailing Tours.
Capt. Curtis was our Captain. A professional licensed sailor that has sailed across the Pacific Ocean several times, he was very knowledge and clearly a sailing specialist. Capt. Curtis was also an amazing tour guide & a pleasant conversationalist; he helped me, and surely the other passengers, to feel very comfortable & at ease.
Immediately out of the Marina, Capt. Curtis hoisted our yacht’s sails, and we got to cruising around to see Point Loma, some of San Diego’s naval military installations, and even a fishing bait barge, where fishermen buy bait, and sea lions soak in the rays of the sun. Of course, one of the highlights of the sail was the breathtaking San Diego sunset. Please enjoy the accompanying video & photos, all of which I personally took during this very sunset sail.
