The Festival of Sail continues through Monday and one of the most thrilling attractions will be running both today and Labor Day- the Cannon Battle.

Hosted by the Maritime Museum of San Diego, the cannon battles feature mock warfare, but very real sailing and quick maneuvering between two Tall Ships on the San Diego Bay. The battles feature a three-hour sail, and what promises to be an unforgettable adventure; tickets are for sale which allow attendees to board the ships, join the crew, raise the sails, and engage in battle.

Cannon battles blast off at 10:30 am, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, and 5:30pm. If you do not have the opportunity to climb aboard, all of the daytime San Diego Sailing Tours charters will be cruising through the bay during a cannon battle, and would be a great way to catch a glimpse!
