The Temecula Valley Balloon Festival will be taking place May 19th in the Southern California Temecula Valley. This annual festival features hot air balloon rides, wine tastings from over 20 different wineries and live music to suit all kinds of musical preferences!
The Temecula Valley Balloon Festival, previously named the Rancho California Balloon and Wine festival, was started in 1983 by Walt Darren, a commercial airplane pilot and avid balloonist. Originally, the festival only featured 6 wineries and only 35 balloons were launched. However, in the years since, the festival has grown at such a steady rate that the festival now features much more.
In the recent years, big headlining names such as Blake Shelton, Kenny Loggins, Sugar Ray, Collective Soul, Gin Blossoms, James Otto, Chuck Wicks, Peter Frampton and Five for Fighting have played the event for the thousands of guests who attend.
