#3 San Diego Bay Parade Of Lights

Date: December 9th and 16th

This is one of San Diego’s most anticipated holidays! As the chilly winter breeze brushes over the open ocean, the twinkling lights of more than 80 private boats decorated with lights will make their way around San Diego Bay for the annual San Diego Bay Parade of Lights. This event will be spanning over two weekends starting on December 9th and repeating once more on December 16th. There will be spots to catch this amazing event at places including Shelter Island, Harbor Island, the Embarcadero, Seaport Village, the pier at Cesar Chavez Park, and Coronado’s Ferry Landing.

 

#2 Holiday Pet Parade In the Gaslamp Quarter

Date: December 16th

On December 16th, San Diego’s furriest buddies family-friendly parade returns for the 11th annual Holiday Pet Parade. This parade is going to take over the streets of the Gaslamp Quarter to unleash holiday cheer and joy. All the pet owners in San Diego are invited to come dress up and bring your companion with you to this parade. The entry to for each applicant is $15 in advance, and $20 the day of the event.
