#3 Black’s Beach
This is definitely one of our favorite beaches in San Diego. It has amazing beautiful water and is surprisingly clean compared to a lot of the other beaches in California. This beach is protected by amazing steep cliffs surrounding the beach that offer an unrivaled view from the top. One thing to keep in mind is that this is a nude beach so clothing is completely optional.
#2 La Jolla Cove
An absolutely breathtaking beach nestled in between sandstone cliffs. This is an optimal beach or snorkelers, scuba divers, and any other watersports practitioner. About 100 feet from the beach is the La Jolla Cove marketplace with amazing local cuisine and shops that can keep you entertained for hours.
#1 Moonlight State Beach
This beach first became popular in the early 1900s when locals would venture to this beach for midnight picnics, this is how this beautiful beach acquired its famous name, Moonlight Beach. These days the park operates under hours where it is open from dawn to sunset so that we can still get our fun in the sun.
