Although we are always excited to start the day and Sail The San Diego Bay, even the peppiest of our captains need a morning pick me up every once in a while!

Well, coffee drinkers rejoice because San Diego has some of the best coffee spots this side of the border! Before you go for a Luxury Sailing Charter, maybe grab a cup of joe for an energy kick!

Below we have compiled a list of some of our personal favorite coffee spots and some of the most highly rated coffee spots in San Diego – for sake of fairness! Sail Into the Sunset with us with a little more pep in your step.

1.) Café Bassam Bankers Hill – This old timey café is inspired by the 1920’s saloon feel. They have really strong coffee that is smooth and wonderful.

2.) Pappalecco Little Italy – Want an authentic Italian coffee? Well look no further because Pappalecco has some of the richest and best espresso in town!

3.) Caffe Calabria – Can’t make it to Little Italy for good coffee? That’s okay! Caffe Calabria is another wonderful and small Italian inspired coffee shop sure to delight the most seasoned coffee fanatic

4.) Café Mono Mission Beach – Want something a little more fun? Café Mono has been known the draw designs in the foam of their lattes. Who wouldn’t want a surprise like that in the morning?

5.) Lestat’s Coffee House Normal Heights – Want something that has an artsy vibe? Lestat’s is a great place for the avid music and art lover to grab a quality cup of joe.
