Veterans Day is upon us, what are you going to do to honor those who have served? This year on November 11th San Diego will be celebrating Veterans Day with ceremonies and parades all across the city. Here are just a few different events going on in San Diego.
USS Midway
Free admission to veterans and their families for the entire day
There will be a parade along Harbor Dr. starting at 11 A.M.
NBC7’S Salute to Service Festival on the flight deck from 10 A.M -4 P.M.
Del Mar Veterans Day Salute
Bing Crosby opening day!
Event includes racetrack admission
Barbeque, drink specials and live music after the races
The Veterans Museum at Balboa Park
Large military ceremony in the morning
Open to public at 12 P.M.
Fallbrook Veterans Day Parade
Begins at 10 A.M along Main Ave.
A celebration ceremony will commence at 11 A.M.
There will be a free lunch at VFW Post 124 located at 1175 S. Old Stage Rd.
