With Winter approaching San Diego a lot faster than we would normally expect it, there are a couple of things that you will find the local San Diegans getting exciting about (which are not snow). Here is a list of 3 things to do this weekend in San Diego.
#3 Liberty Station Tree Lighting and Holiday Festivities
Location: Liberty Station’s North Promenade
Time: Friday, Nov. 30, 5pm-9pm
This Friday, Nov. 30, Liberty Station in San Diego will be decking their halls and lighting their annual Christmas tree. Along with all of the holiday festivities, there will also be live entertainment, music, and a movie being played outside. Make sure to come out and get in the holiday spirit just as the seasons begin to change! This will be a spectacular event for participants of all ages!
#2 Del Mar Beer Fest
Location: Del Mar Thoroughbred Club’s Grandstand
Time: Saturday, Dec. 1, 11:30am- 3:30 pm
This Saturday, the annual Craft Beer Fest of Del Mar makes its return and showing off more than 100 samples of local and international brew! In addition to the average brew, there will also be an assortment of rare ales and ciders. As of right now, there are presale tickets being sold for $22 a ticket, this will get you racetrack admission as well as 5 7-ounce samples of beer. In addition to all the brew, there will also be a DJ, silent disco, and different beer-centric games and activities.
#1 Holiday By the Bay
Location: Hilton San Diego Bayfront
Time: Saturday, Dec. 1, 5pm-11pm
New this year to San Diego, the Hilton Bayfront Hotel is opening a holiday adventure park right next to the San Diego Bay. This year they will be featuring a couple of new reimagined traditions like an ice tubing slide, bumper carts, and a light show centered around a Christmas Tree. This adventure park will be open up January 5, 2019 to anyone with a ticket which will be starting at $12.
