November 8th, the day everyone has been waiting for is right around the corner! It is finally time to cast your vote, but how do you know where to go?
Nobody wants to wake up tomorrow morning, go all the way to the voting polls just to find out they have come to the wrong location. If you are planning on voting in person it is important you know which polling location is the one for you. If you are dropping off an absentee ballot then you do not have to worry about which location you are going to.
There are many different ways to figure out your polling location. Calling around ahead of time, texting as well as researching online are all ways you can save yourself a headache tomorrow. A very easy way is to text “VOTE” to GoVote at 468-683. Another way is to go online and use the link below. http://www2.sdcounty.ca.gov/rov/Eng/Polling.asp .
Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
If you are dropping off a vote-by-mail ballot then you can take it to any polling location in the county as long as it is during the right hours.
Exercise your constitutional right and go vote!
