Yoga, the act of “spiritual and ascetic discipline, including breath control, simple meditation and the adoption of specific bodily postures, is widely practiced for health and relaxation.” Places all over the world have adopted this kind of exercise and it has proven to be beneficial. It can increase blood flow, boost immunity, build muscle and even help with one’s posture.  San Diego has widely adopted this practice and has yoga studios all over town.  In fact there are many places one can go do yoga for free.
